Asif Kabani is a Fellow UN in Internet Governance, Next Generation Leader in Internet and renowned international scholar, trainer and public policy researcher in the field Finance & Governance, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Internet of Things. He has more 15+ years of experience working as International Advisor, Consultant, Expert, Executive Director, Head of Research and Projects, and Programme Manager with world leading donor organizations, development banks, and governments namely Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), Geneva, Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank (WB), Ministry of Finance and Planning, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and Ministry of Information Communication Technology (ICT). He has worked with Ambassadors, Cabinet Ministers, and Head of States of many countries and government including Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), UK Government. He has worked with United Nations System starting with United Nations Office Geneva (UNOG), Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) New York, IGF and UN agencies like UNICEF, UNODC, UNDP, UNESCO, UNHCR, and, USAID, IOM, ITU and ICANN. He is a Fellow with United Nations (UN) and Fellow of Diplomacy Foundation, Geneva. He is also Sr. member of Development Executive, Member of Internet Society (ISOC), and other prestigious organization in the world. He has Masters of Science (MSc) in Economic Development, MBA in Management studies and MBA in Marketing and Information Communication Technology (ICT).
